Short, but exciting, spanking stories

This short story collection (and I mean short) has the theme of spanking. The stories are short, to the point, and very erotic. There's no plot or character development. This is stripped down, bare-bones erotica. John Satisfy draws you into the sheer, erotic delight of a couple enjoying a disciplining relationship.

The stories are written with a very unique style that I found to work very well. It's a mix of first and second person, and I think it'll make an exciting read for both men and women. In each story an unnamed man is disciplining an unnamed woman. The man's part is written in first person, making it very easy to become the man spanking the beautiful woman. The woman's part, on the other hand, is written in second person, and it makes you feel like you are the one being disciplined by the narrator.

Of the three stories, my favorite was 'Red, White, and You,' set on a boat during the a Fourth of July celebration. It's the longest, and has one of my favorite kinks: forced exhibitionism. The other two stories are pretty hot. 'Office Discipline' seems to be a boss dealing with a secretary, and the second story, 'Punishment for Being Lazy', is very short, but very hot.

My only complaint is the brevity. The three stories combined are about how long I like my erotica to be, with some character development and plot, and each left me wanting to read more about these characters, particularly 'Office Discipline'. I love an nice abusive of authority story. But I can't deny how effective John Satisfy's style is at sucking you in and making you feel like you're one of the characters. It's a stroke story, and completely unashamed about that.

Three steaming hot, short stories all wrapped up in one sexy package. I love John Satisfy's style of writing; he puts you right in the character's point of view, as if you are experiencing everything yourself. I also appreciate a good spanking story, and John always over delivers. Very sexy, descriptive scenes, mild Domination and submission, OTK spankings, and more will leave you begging to be punished. Did I mention spankings? My favorite in this anthology was "Red, White, and You."

First let me say this book has one of my all time favorite shorts in it. I can't tell you which one...that would just be spoiling. But if you follow me you will know. ;).

I also enjoy unique the use of office equipment, yet ouch!

If you enjoy spanking stories I see this one hitting your eReader with a moan and a sigh. I highly recommend and I would be quite surprised if you didn't love each and every one.

Great Biblical Tool

Many times I have read scriptures and thought they were good and much needed for the situation I was dealing with. Then I have had a few times where I have read a scripture and for the first time I really understood its meaning. I have used a journal for a long time. I use it to take notes in when I read something in a book that I thought was thought provoking and wanted to go back to it later. I also write scriptures down so I can re read them when I sense a need for that particular scripture. This book is exactly what I need to dig deeper, to truly understand what God is saying to me.

We all have such busy lives but it's important to spend time with God and listen to His voice. I loved the chapters that help you build on your relationship with God. At the end of every chapter is a place to journal your thoughts from the chapter and meditate on the daily scripture. As the author explains, "Meditation is a continuous activity." He further goes into depth about the four pillars of meditation. Each one builds on the other to reach transformation. The book is filled with helpful tips and guides you as you begin to study the bible more intensely . I enjoyed the many tools he gives you to help you get a clearer knowledge of the bible. When we take the time to really read the scriptures, God will help you visualize what He is saying through His word . I encourage readers to take their time going through this book and doing the exercise after each chapter . It is a well written book that will help you hear His voice more clearly and understand scriptures with more clarity .

Great resource

I believe this book truly speaks to those who are searching for God. The author shows how each of us is constructing our own kingdom. He also explains how unfortunately it doesn't always work out the way we plan. This is of course because God has a plan for us. This book shows you that it is ok to ask questions. We have all been restless a time or two in our lives. God is always here to answer our questions.
The chapters range from our sources of restlessness to coming to the end of it. He walks non believers step by step and allows for great discussion.
Loved how the author layed out the chapters and diagrams with passages from the bible for reference. I also liked the end of the book where he placed discussion questions for each chapter to delve deeper into conversation.

“Hearing God through Biblical Meditation – Unlocking Fresh Revelation Daily” is made up of easy to follow exercises designed to help the reader understand and experience the process of prayerful, reflective, contemplation on the Scriptures, while allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate the passage, and to provide guidance while pursuing God’s purpose. Each of the 20 short chapters is filled with practical tools for communicating with God and knowing Him experientially.

The chapters contain instructions on basic principles for encountering God through the Scriptures, reflection exercises, space for journaling, a suggested Scripture of mediation, and meditation prompts. I found the suggestions for Spirit led observation of a Bible story, especially interesting, and helpful. The discussion on how Bible study and meditation work together, provided practical observations on man’s doctrine versus sound doctrine and how “the conditions of one’s heart is crucial in coming to truth.

Mark Virkler is recognized internationally for his ministry in helping others how to receive healing and develop intimacy with God through prayer and Biblical mediation.

It's hard to say which one is better than another;one can always find something in any one of them.As far as these compilations go;this one is pretty good and not as expensive as most.It is well constructed with a hard cover,has 448 pages of quotations arranged under 400 subjects.With several quotations under each subject,you should find just the right one to suit your purpose or just your enjoyment.I know I did and here are just a few that took my fancy;

A Quote Book that has Been Researched

There are many sloppy books of quotations. This has put many misattributions into the public vernacular. This book appears to have actually been researched, with notations for dubious attributions. There are many wonderful quotes, and it has been curated by some very well read individuals. I consider it a worthy addition to any personal library.

A Well-Engineered Plan to Electrify US Rail. Long Overdue

Inclusionary activist Bill Moyer has assembled an outstanding and diverse team to formulate a very practical and attractive plan to electrify and upgrade US rail, both freight and passenger, starting with the Seattle to Chicago northern transcontinental route. The engineers on the team have crunched the numbers, and they look very promising. Key input has come from railroad engineering and business consultants, in addition to government reports and discussions with environmentalists, tribes, rail workers, and others.
Agriculture and rural communities along the route would reap great benefits, and not just from the sales of wind and solar energy to the railroads. The direct electrical power, track, and signal improvements would mean substantially greater speed, reliability, and capacity at substantially lower cost. Speeds up to 125 mph are feasible within most of the current corridor, and there is also room for new power lines. This means much improved market access, especially for perishables. In addition the prospects are good for taking back some of the freight that was lost to trucking with the advent of the interstate highway system and trucking subsidies. This will be a big saver of road wear and tear, not just green house gas emissions.
Ironically, electric rail has a long history in the United States, including the Seattle to Chicago route until the 1970s. As fossil fuel costs have risen globally, so has rail electrification, usually with government assistance in other countries. Here the long term benefits of electrification require at least 500 miles of corridor upgrades, hence billions up front. BNSF has been investing heavily in spot improvements along this corridor, but is not ready to make the big leap to electrification by itself.
This proposal would kick in public subsidies by lowering the cost of debt, also the cost of property taxes on the new infrastructure. A non-profit corporation would end up owning the improvements thus financed, which would then be leased to the railroad companies, with the lease fees covered all the costs to the non-profit. The concept is that the states with the most at stake, Montana and Washington, would take the lead, with negotiations including labor standards and tribal treaty rights, not just infrastructure and finances. Other rail corridors and partners would follow.

Say "Yes!" to a Really Good Idea

If you are exhausted from fighting off coal terminals, oil terminals, methanol plants and other unspeakably bad ideas, and you want something good to fight for, here it is. Everybody loves renewable energy (unless you are a big oil company). Updating our rail system to run on electricity moves us away from using diesel. The frosting on the cake is that the same infrastructure right-of-way that brings power to the train can be used to distribute wind from the Midwest and solar from the Southwest. Diversity of renewable sources ("the wind is always blowing somewhere") makes wind and solar energy a more consistent source of energy. In fact, a widely-enough distributed upgraded electrical grid makes renewable energy reliable enough to get rid of fossil fuels in our electricity (e.g., look up the work of Dr. Mark Jacobson at Stanford University). The demonstration project proposed by Solutionary Rail is a big step in the right direction, toward 100% renewable electricity, an electrified transportation system, and freedom from fossil fuels. This is something you can say "Yes!" to!

The United States has so under appreciated the value of a good rail system. Just look at China and the huge investments they have made!. And rail is an important part of their transportation system. We are so far behind and the ideas presented in this valuable book should be taken seriously by everyone interested in improving our transportation system.

About the Author
N. Gregory Mankiw is Robert M. Beren Professor of Economics at Harvard University. He studied economics at Princeton University and MIT. Dr. Mankiw is a prolific writer and a regular participant in academic and policy debates. His research includes work on price adjustment, consumer behavior, financial markets, monetary and fiscal policy, and economic growth. His published articles have appeared in academic journals, such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, and Quarterly Journal of Economics, and in more widely accessible forums, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Fortune. Dr. Mankiw has been a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, an adviser to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Congressional Budget Office, and a member of the ETS test development committee for the advanced placement exam in economics. From 2003 to 2005, he served as chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers.

A beautiful introduction

This was the textbook (in an earlier edition) that introduced me to economics back in high school. I decided to take the AP exam in the subject, even though my school offered no such course. Between this text and a test prep book, I was able to ace the exams; but more importantly, I was immersed in a subject so fascinating that I'm now studying it as a PhD student.

Throughout the book, Mankiw highlights differences in opinion between economists and "laymen," and to examine where those differences come from. For instance, rent ceilings are a popular policy that 93% of economists (as of a 1992 survey) say "reduce both the quantity and the quality of available housing." Mankiw explains why economists are so sure of this in compelling, intuitive terms, without demanding that students master calculus or statistical methods.

This book is the same as the newer version with a different model here and there but otherwise this edition and the 5th edition are the same. So save money by buying this one.

Wonderful book, teaching materials ok

This is a wonderful, wonderful book to introduce students to economics. The faculty materials are not quite as wonderful. We are on chapter 3 and one of my students found an error in a chapter on-line self quiz. I have found errors in the test bank and there are some ambiguous questions. The slides, however, match the high quality of the text.
Easily five stars except for the problems noted.
