Great for Kenpoists. I have read Mr Wedlake's Kenpo 101 to 401. Great resources to have the forms written and detailed with little pieces of wisdom.

The Best Book On Kenpo For The Student I've Found

I'm a martial artist, although Kenpo isn't the style I study. Mister Wedlake is obviously a seasoned instructor, and his depth of knowledge of American Kenpo is profound. The best book I've found that covers every form, every technique in the forms, and how they apply.
The photos are helpful, but you cannot learn Kenpo from the book. For a student, that is already taking Kenpo lessons, this is a treasure trove of information about the methods they are studying. Kenpo has well mapped out rules to understanding the principles of the art. And this book has an extensive appendix in the back, that covers them all.
He doesn't just cover the basics. The book reveals applications and insights that you can only get from an instructor with decades of experience.
